Mark Jordan gives an explanation to the 4 types of Charis Meetings.
Charis is an ecumenical covenant community in Northern Ireland,
a people of prayer and worship, living discipleship together, serving widely,
and seeking to bring others into life in Christ.
Charis Gatherings
Our gatherings are our main opportunity to meet as a community where guests are always welcome. The components of all of our gatherings are prayer, music, sharing by Charis individuals and good teaching.
Lord's Day Celebrations
We have Lord's Day Celebrations twice per month to celebrate the start of Sunday. As members of different Christian denominations we attend our own services on Sundays. The ceremony is based on the Jewish celebration of the Sabbath. We use worship and prayer and finish by sharing a good meal with each other.
